Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Driver II in New York, NY. You will operate buses, shuttles, or trucks, ensuring safe, timely service while maintaining vehicle safety and guest satisfaction. Qualifications

• Must be age 21 years or older.
• 1 year+ professional driving experience and vehicle mechanical experience preferred, plus customer service experience.
• Must communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
• Must pass a DOT physical examination and obtain a medical card.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and participate in the random testing pool.
• Must complete Defensive Driving Course prior to driving a company vehicle.
• Driver endorsements may be required to operate all vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Must complete a daily vehicle inspection form prior to driving and after finishing their route.
• Maintain a pleasant and clean atmosphere in and out of the vehicle.
• Wear safety equipment and seat belt at all times while driving.
• Operate company vehicle under 26,000 lb GVW transporting passengers or supplies.
• Drive defensively and provide exceptional customer service to guests.
• Assist with baggage handling and concierge-style knowledge of the property.
• May lift guest luggage up to 80 lb.
• Fuel, clean, and inspect vehicle as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance and safety issues promptly.
• Complete vehicle logs; coordinate with Transportation Office dispatcher.
• May perform warehouse driving and occasional clerical tasks.
• May conduct basic maintenance and safety inspections on trucks and related equipment.
• Attend safety meetings and share ideas to improve efficiency.
