Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions (IES) in Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking a local truck driver. You will safely transport frac tanks, vacuum boxes, and tankers to local customers and return home each night.

This safety-sensitive role requires a valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement, experience with roll-off or winch trucks, and a clean driving record. Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required. Monday–Friday schedule with overtime.

Qualifications

• Safety-sensitive role requiring adherence to all safety protocols and standards.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL issued by one state or jurisdiction.
• 3+ years CDL Class A driving experience, or 2 years with truck driving school certificate (recent within 7 years).
• Experience with roll-off or winch trucks (heavy haul preferred).
• Valid Tanker Endorsement required.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred.
• Towing experience preferred.
• 6 months roll-off truck experience within last 24 months.
• TWIC card required.
• Valid medical certificate, physically able to drive a CMV.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in English for communication and reporting.
• CDL driving experience from military service accepted.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport frac tanks, vacuum boxes, and tankers to local customers.
• Survey customer property, set up, and secure equipment on site.
• Routinely inspect vehicle for maintenance and upkeep.
• Document work performed on equipment deliveries and pickups.
• May transport non-hazardous loads to/from landfills.
• Occasional overnight travel may be needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport frac tanks, vacuum boxes, and tankers to/ from local customers
• Survey customer property, set up, & secure equipment on the property
• Routinely inspect vehicle to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep
• Properly document work performed on equipment deliveries and pick-ups
• May be asked to transport non-hazardous loads to/from landfills
• Occasional overnight travel may be needed

• Tractor trailers: Both hydraulic and gas powered

• Telephone, radio, handheld dispatch equipment & computer
• Load pulling/load securement chains, straps, winch

Job Qualifications

This is a safety-sensitive role that requires strict adherence to all company safety protocols and standards.

Prospective employees must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL issued by one state or jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of CDL Class A driving experience, or 2 years with a truck driving school certificate (experience within the last 7 years preferred).
• Experience with roll-off or winch trucks (heavy haul preferred).
• Valid Tanker Endorsement required.
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred.
• Towing experience preferred.
• 6 months roll-off truck experience within the last 24 months.
• TWIC card required.
• Valid medical certificate, physically qualified to drive a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to shoulder level.
• Proficient in English for communication, following highway signs, and completing reports.
• CDL driving experience from military service accepted.
