Job summary

In-N-Out Burgers is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver based in Phoenix, AZ to handle daily deliveries to restaurant locations and satellite warehouses. The role involves rotating products and ensuring freshness, with hands-on duties using pallet jacks, forklifts, and lift gates.

The candidate must hold a valid Class A CDL, have 2+ years of CDL delivery and food service delivery experience, and pass a company driving test. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a CDL holder delivery driver is required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in food service delivery is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate company truck for daily deliveries to In-N-Out Burgers restaurants in Phoenix.
• Deliver and rotate product; ensure freshest ingredients reach customers.
• Operate electric pallet jack, forklift, lift gates and hand trucks as needed.
• Establish and maintain excellent customer service relationships.
• Complete warehouse duties including loading/unloading and order pulling.
• Work with pride in a team-oriented environment.

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Delivery Driver currently based in our Phoenix, AZ. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for the delivery and rotation of product to our In-N-Out Burgers restaurant locations and satellite warehouses.

About Our Fleet:

• 389 Peterbilt Classic Day Cabs
• Manual
• Great Dane trailer with lift gates and electric pallet jack (no ramps)

General Responsibilities

• Operate company truck to provide daily deliveries to In-N-Out Burgers restaurants located in Phoenix
• Be responsible for the delivery and rotation of product
• Ensure that our customers receive only the freshest, highest quality ingredients
• Operate an electric pallet jack, forklift, lift gates, hand trucks, dolly
• Establish and maintain excellent customer service relationships
• Complete some warehouse duties such as loading/unloading trucks, and order pulling for the store deliveries
• Perform all duties with pride, Work well in an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation
• Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
• Start time: 12:30am (10-hour shifts) (1:00am start time when scheduled on weekends)
• Weekend and holiday availability required; Overtime as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a CDL holder delivery driver (required)
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience Food Service delivery, restaurant or beverage delivery experience (Highly preferred)
• Valid Class A driver’s license (required)
• Smith System certified driver (preferred)
• Ability to lift 60-75 lbs. on a continuous basis
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management
• Strong initiative: Ability to work independently and follow through safely and accurately on assignments with minimal supervision
• Must be able pass a company administered driving test and be able to properly operate a 10-speed and 13-speed transmission
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission
