Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is seeking a Local Class A Delivery Driver in Pineville, NC for home daily routes. You will operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer, delivering food products to restaurant customers and loading/unloading with hand trucks.

You must hold a valid Class A CDL with a current DOT medical card and have at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in food service or beverage delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with current DOT medical card.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience in food service or beverage delivery.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and work in multi-temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes - no layovers
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance

Local Class A Delivery Driver – Home Daily | $80K-$85K Avg. Annual

Location: 9510 Rodney St. Pineville, NC 28134

Shift: Evening Dispatch | No Layovers!

What You’ll Do

• Operate a diesel‑powered tractor‑trailer on local routes - no layovers
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks - this is atouch‑freightrole
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveriesare in compliance

What You’ll Bring

• ValidClass A CDLw/current DOT medical card and at least 1+ yearoftractor‑trailer driving experience infood service orbeveragedelivery.
• Ability to lift 5-75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi‑temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations

The Schedule & Setting

• Class A Dispatches: Sunday - Saturday: 11:30am-5:30pm
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• All trailers equipped with liftgates-no ramps
• Touchfreight- with repetitive lifting 75+lbs.

• Starting Pay: 28.19/hourly (Avg 85,000 annually)
