Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution is seeking a local Class B driver to deliver food products to restaurant customers. You will operate a diesel tractor-trailer on local routes, load/unload as needed, and maintain DOT compliance. The position requires a valid Class B license with DOT medical card and 2+ years of box truck experience, plus flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B Driver with DOT medical card and 2+ years of box truck driving in food/beverage delivery.
• Lift 75+ lbs, work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers).
• Strong customer service and clear communication with dispatch, stores, and drivers.
• Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation.
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet DOT regulations.

In This Role, You’ll

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes - no layovers
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks - this is a touch-freight role
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance

What You’ll Bring

• Valid Class B Driver w/ current DOT medical card and at least 2+ years of Box Truckdriving experience in food service or beverage delivery.
• Ability to lift 5 -75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations

The Schedule & Setting

• Work 4 days / Dispatch- 1pm
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• All trailers equipped with lift gates - no ramps
• Touch freight - with repetitive lifting 75+ lbs

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range (Base Pay): $325/Trip plus incentive pay

Other Compensation: May include shift differentials, overtime pay, bonuses, or other incentive pay as applicable to the position and location.
