Job summary

Augment in Washington, DC is hiring Driver Helpers to join our outdoor waste and recycling team. You’ll ride with a professional driver on residential or commercial routes, assisting with pickups and helping ensure safe, timely material collection.

This full-time, active role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, working early mornings, and enduring all weather. We offer weekly pay, a strong team environment, and opportunities for growth in environmental services; background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Prior general labor experience is a plus but not required.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Ride along routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism when trained.
• Walk quickly from stop to stop; stay physically active.
• Keep vehicle clean and report route issues.
