Job summary

Maersk Ground Freight (MGF) is hiring a Driver Helper for our Ladson, SC location. The role supports the driver with loading, unloading, and logistics tasks on a full-time schedule (M-F, 8am-5pm).

The Driver Helper will assist with route loading, navigation, and freight handling, with opportunities for career advancement and a strong benefits package. Qualifications include a High School or better education, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, basic map-reading skills, and good customer service.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a map and have general geographic knowledge of the area.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs unassisted.
• Must possess good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately load the daily route onto the truck and scan it.
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries.
• Assist driver with carrying freight to a business or residence destination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
