Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Driver Helper at our Ladson, SC location to support the driver with loading, unloading, and daily route tasks. The role operates Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with full benefits and bi-weekly pay.

Candidates should have a High School diploma, reading map skills, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and strong customer service. Forklift familiarity is a plus, as is basic shipping document handling.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. unassisted.
• Must possess good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and scan the daily route for the truck.
• Assist driver with deliveries and navigation.
• Help unload freight at business or residence destinations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
