Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Driver Helper in Texas to assist the driver with unloading and delivering products on the route. The role involves multi-stop deliveries, placing items at customer stops, and ensuring accuracy and safety throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Able to perform repetitive lifting of over 50 lbs and occasional lifting over 100 lbs.
• Drive safety is monitored and required to follow company standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Driver with routes delivering products consisting of multiple stops.
• Place delivered products in various assigned storage locations at each stop according to customer’s request.
• Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.
• Perform duties by following the Company’s safety standards.
• Represent Ben E. Keith Company with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude and dress code.
• Deliver products on Hot Shot trucks
• Report delays, accidents or other traffic and transportation situations to bases.

The Driver Helper position will assist driver in the unloading and delivery of products on the route.

Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
