Job summary

Ben E. Keith is hiring a Driver Helper to assist the driver with unloading and delivering products along a multi-stop route. The role includes placing items at each stop per customer requests and maintaining accuracy and safety during handling.

Responsibilities include reading maps with the driver, reporting delays or incidents, and upholding Ben E. Keith’s safety standards and professional dress. Must be 18+, have a valid license, and a high school education or GED.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• High School Education/GED required

Physical Requirements:

• Able to perform repetitive lifting of over 50lbs., occasional lifting over 100lbs.
• Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to walk extensively.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend at the waist, stoop, and squat to lift heavy items in a proper manner.
• Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet and legs.
• Must be able to read numbers and product descriptions.

The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
