Job summary

Augment in Wayne, NE is hiring Driver Helpers to join a fast-paced environmental services team. You will assist a professional driver on residential or commercial routes, helping lift and load containers and ensure timely, safe pickups.

This full-time position offers outdoor work, early shifts, and opportunities for growth within waste and recycling services. Weekly pay and a team-focused environment help you stay active and engaged while serving the community.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Reliable with early morning shifts.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather.
• Prior general labor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ride along designated routes to assist the driver with pickups.
• Lift and load waste and recycling containers onto the truck.
• Operate the lifting mechanism (when trained) to empty bins.
• Walk and move quickly from stop to stop—physically active role.
• Ensure all materials are collected safely and professionally.
• Help keep the vehicle clean and communicate route issues to the driver or supervisor.
