JOB SUMMARY

Assist delivery driver with unloading, checking the quality, and delivering the product to the customer location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unload and check the quality of products at a customer location, rotate and check the quality of produce.
• Drive to different locations to assist the driver with deliveries.
• Call in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts).
• Handle any customer complaints professionally.
• Handle company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules, and perform pre-trip inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Prefer High School or GED or equivalent.

Experience

• Experience with handcart and electric pallet jack.

Professional Skills

• Proven ability to communicate articulately and perform simple arithmetic.
• Understand the product delivery schedule.
• Ensure product meets quality and rotation standards.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Frequent moving of product weighing up to 50 pounds; infrequent moving up to 80 pounds.
• Must be able to climb on and off the truck.
• Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Cold warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (hot, rain, cold).
