The Role

We are looking to hire a highly efficient driver helper to assist company drivers with all deliveries.

Essential Responsibilities Include, but Not Limited To

1. Loading and unloading company products
2. Completing accurate delivery records and reports
3. Reporting all delivery-related problems to senior staff
4. Effectively communicating with clients and customers
5. Assisting with the unloading of the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift
6. Obtaining clients’ and customers’ signatures as acknowledgment of receipt of delivered products
7. Ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed
8. Performing other duties as assigned, which may include tasks outside normal responsibilities as needed

Peripheral Duties: Tasks and special projects assigned by the Transportation Supervisor

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs frequently
• Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment for up to 8 hours per shift
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions
• Basic problem-solving and math skills
• Understanding and following safety rules, procedures, and diagrams
• Warehouse experience is helpful but not required
• Riding pallet jack experience is preferred but not required
