Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking a delivery driver to transfer, load and deliver propane to customers from bulk trucks, tanks and cylinders. You will keep the vehicle clean and organized and use available technology to record deliveries and inspect inventory.

You will report safety issues, work with the Dispatcher on routing, and may work overtime as needed. A CDL A or B, Hazmat endorsement, a DOT medical card, and a high school diploma are required. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year delivery driver experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• DOT medical certification required.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.

• Document pre/post vehicle inspections and site checks when applicable.

Job description

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred
• CDL Class A or B
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Current DOT medical certification

Pay Transparency:

The hourly rate ranges from $26.00 - $32.00, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates based on industry experience, CDL/Hazmat endorsements, and technical expertise.
