Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking a dedicated Propane Delivery Driver in Hudson, NH. The role involves safe, timely propane deliveries, loading/unloading, and exceptional customer service. You will operate with a focus on safety, conduct routine vehicle inspections, and collaborate with dispatch for efficient routing.

Ideal candidates have a CDL, 1 year delivery experience, and a current DOT medical certificate. Hazmat and tanker endorsements are preferred, and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driver experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, load and deliver propane to customers from containers (bulk, tanks, cylinders).
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and safe driving practices.
• Use technology to monitor transfers, track inventory, and generate delivery tickets.
• Prepare and perform pre/post vehicle inspections and site inspections as needed.
• Collaborate with Dispatcher for routing, scheduling and issue resolution.
• Overtime may be required when business needs demand.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Propane Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Propane Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.
