Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking a propane delivery driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of propane to customers. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, maintaining vehicle safety, and providing exceptional customer service. You will monitor inventory, print delivery tickets, and complete daily reports while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Eligible for overtime and on-call incentive programs. Company offers a supportive environment and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Delivery driver experience preferred.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred.
• Current DOT medical certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology to monitor transfer of propane inventory and print delivery tickets.
• Complete daily driver reports as required.
• Perform pre/post vehicle inspections and notify Fleet Manager of issues.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher for routing and scheduling and escalate issues as needed.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Propane Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Propane Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred
• CDL Class A or B
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Current DOT medical certification
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $34.00 per hour.

This role will be eligible for overtime pay once scheduled work week hours are met.

When applicable, this role is eligible for an on-call incentive stipend.

This position is also eligible for a quarterly/annual incentive program.
