Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Davenport, IA, is hiring a full-time Warehouse / Shipping Associate to join our service center. You will ship and receive materials, maintain stock, and support customer service with accurate data entry and order pulling.

This on-site role runs Monday–Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with opportunities for professional development and a robust benefits package including 401K, insurance, time off, and more.

Qualifications

• This role requires 6+ months warehouse or customer service experience.
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Ship and/or receive materials, maintain stock areas and inventory.
• Use forklift, simple hand and power tools, weighing scales, postage meters.
• Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver orders and equipment.
• Assist in data entry, counter and telephone sales/service, order pulling, and customer calls as needed.

What you’ll do:

You’ll be part of team offering our customers world class service and support. You’ll use your strong customer service skills when interacting with customers.
