Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a full-time Warehouse / Shipping Associate in Tualatin, Oregon. This on-site role includes hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, in a friendly and competitive environment focused on employee growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shipping and receiving materials, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Qualifications include warehouse or customer service experience, communication skills, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 6+ months warehouse or customer service experience.
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certified a plus but training is provided.
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ship and/or receive materials, maintain stock areas and inventory.
• Use forklift and simple hand tools for operations.
• Operate company vehicle for order pickups and deliveries.
• Assist in data entry and customer service calls.
• Maintain a clean driving record.

What you'll do:

You'll be part of team offering our customers world class service and support. You'll use your strong customer service skills when interacting with customers.

This position is on site at our service center. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Great work / life balance!

• Ship and/or receive materials, maintain stock areas and inventory using paper pick tickets and SAP computer system to ship orders.
• Use forklift, simple hand and power tools, weighing scales, postage meters. Cycle counting, daily maintenance
• Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver orders and equipment
• Assist in data entry, counter and telephone sales/service, order pulling, and customer calls as needed
• Maintain clean driving record

Qualifications

• 6+ months warehouse or customer service experience
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend and regular lifting of 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certified a plus but we can train
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR)
