Job summary

MTM Transit in Eugene, Oregon is hiring Full Time CDL Drivers. Training classes start every other week. Location: 240 Garfield Street in Eugene, OR. Hourly pay: Non-CDL start $21.00, CDL start $22.00, with paid training and comprehensive benefits.

You’ll need a high school diploma or GED, must be 21+, possess a valid Oregon Class C CDL with passenger endorsement or obtain within 3 months, and pass background checks, DOT drug/alcohol screening, and work authorization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Oregon Class C CDL with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain within 3 months of start.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License for the past 5 years; no DUI/DWI convictions.
• Pass criminal background check, FBI fingerprinting, and Motor Vehicle record check; pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle.
• Assist with mobility devices and securement for safety protocols.
• Ensure on-time pickup and drop-off of customers.
• Complete vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
