Job summary

MTM Transit is hiring Full Time, Non-CDL Drivers for Reno, NV in partnership with RTC Access & Flexride. The role offers an hourly rate of $21.06, paid training, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.

Training classes start every two weeks, with opportunities for internal career growth. Candidates must be 21+, hold Nevada Class C license, pass DOT physical and drug screen, and meet background/MVR checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a Nevada Class C driver’s license or obtain within 3 months of hire.
• No DUI or DWI convictions; no suspensions or at fault accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening; pass criminal background check & MVR.
• Resume with a minimum of 10 years work history.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle.
• Assist with mobility device and securement as required for safety protocols.
• Ensure on-time pickup and drop-off of the customer.
• Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required.

MTM Transit , in partnership with the RTC Access & Flexride , is looking for Full Time, Non-CDL Drivers to join our team in Reno, NV. We currently have training classes that start every two weeks!

What you’ll need:

_ Experience, Education & Certifications: _

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must possess a valid Nevada Class C driver’s license or ability obtain within 3 months of hire

• No DUI or DWI convictions

• No suspensions or at fault accidents in the last 3 years

• No Major moving violations within the past 3 years

• Four or more minor moving violations within the past 3 years will be reviewed

• Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening

• Must pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle record check

• Valid authorization to work in the United States

• Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history

_ Skills: _

• Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronicdevice

• Ability to maintain high level ofconfidentiality

• Ability to communicate with others and comprehendinstructions

• Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, andschedules

• Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOTregulations

• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the servicearea
