Job summary

The Arbor Company in Georgia is seeking a Driver/Activities Assistant to transport residents as scheduled and support daily activities, with a focus on safety and resident engagement.

You will contribute to our six-dimensional engagement program, keep vehicle logs, assist with packages, and help residents enjoy meaningful activities, while upholding all state driving laws and providing compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Assist residents entering and exiting vehicles safely.
• Maintain rider logs and Emergency Contact Sheets.
• Adhere to motor vehicle laws while transporting residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in entering and exiting vehicle or bus safely.
• Deliver packages or purchases obtained during trips.
• Obey all state motor vehicle and driving laws at all times.
• Keep feeding list/log of passengers and Emergency Contact Sheets.
• Support residents through the 6-dimensional engagement program.
• Build meaningful connections and contribute to residents' well-being.
• Bring creativity and a positive attitude to the role.

Driver/ Activities Assistant Job Summary:

The Driver/Activities Assistant shall be responsible for the transportation of residents as scheduled. The Driver/Activities Assistant will also be responsible for the maintenance and daily checks on the bus and or vehicles used for transportation purposes. The Driver/Activities Assistant will also assist with resident activities when no appointments are scheduled.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assist residents in entering and/or exiting vehicle or bus making sure residents are safely secured according to motor vehicle laws.

• Assist residents by delivering packages or purchases obtained while out on shopping excursions, activities, etc.

• Obey all state motor vehicle and driving laws at all time, ensuring the safe transportation of residents.

• Feeds list/log of who goes on vehicles and carries Emergency Contact Sheet of all on board.

• You will provide meaningful and engaging opportunities for our residents to thrive and improve their overall health and spirit through our 6-dimensional engagement program

• You will make a positive contribution to the lives of our residents and families through building deep connections.
