Job summary

Juniper Landscaping is hiring for a driver/crew member to support our landscape maintenance teams in Wimauma, FL. This dual role requires safely operating a company truck and 24' trailer while performing routine landscape tasks as part of a crew on-site.

Qualified candidates will have a valid driver's license, experience driving large vehicles, and the ability to work outdoors in heat and sunlight. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to clear a MVR check.
• Experience safely driving a truck & trailer.
• Landscaping experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to use hand tools and power equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely driving a company work truck with a 24' trailer.
• Performing daily vehicle inspections.
• Working as a member of the landscape maintenance crew and completing jobsite tasks including mowing, edging, blowing, pruning, planting, weed pulling, applying mulch, and general landscape maintenance duties.
• Using hand tools, power tools, and/or equipment to perform landscape duties.
• Moving soil, equipment, and materials.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Our Crew Members perform work on the job sites in a safe and quality manner to ensure beautiful landscapes for our clients. This position will be a dual driver/crew member position responsible for driving a Juniper truck & trailer and working alongside the landscape maintenance crew at each job site.
