Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in transportation or DOT-regulated industry.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT drug testing, and Clearinghouse.
• Familiarity with OSHA recordkeeping, FMLA, and employment law.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS and strong Excel skills.
• Discretion handling confidential and medical records; able to work with drivers and field crews.

Responsibilities

• Manage full employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, benefits, and employee relations.
• Maintain driver compliance files and DOT regulatory requirements.
• Administer DOT drug and alcohol testing program and Clearinghouse queries.
• Track qualifications, medical certificates, and required trainings to prevent lapses.
• Prepare for audits and maintain organized records.
• Produce compliance and workforce reports in Excel.
• Support safety and operations leadership on HR activities.
