Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Kahului, Maui, HI is seeking a Driver - Class A (Open) to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and unload gas cylinders, and deliver to customer sites with professionalism.

The role schedules Monday–Friday with occasional weekend shifts. Pay ranges from $27–$30 per hour based on experience, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, 401(k) with match, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain license, medical card, and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last three years, or one of each.
• No driving under the influence within the last seven years.
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment.
• Be able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with material-handling equipment.
• Minimum one year of CDL driving experience in the last five years or certified trucking school completion within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies.
• Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers.
• Make deliveries in a timely manner.
• Safely strap and unstrap cylinders.
• Make deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart (physical work).
• Frequently exit vehicle as needed.
