Job summary

Airgas in Kahului, Maui is seeking a reliable Driver - Class A to handle daily cylinder deliveries and on‑site customer service. You will perform vehicle inspections, load/unload cylinders, and ensure timely, safe deliveries while maintaining professional customer relationships.

The role requires a valid CDL with HazMat/Airbrake endorsements, ability to lift heavy loads, and at least one year of CDL experience or trucking school.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat & Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain valid driver's license, medical card and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or at‑fault accidents as specified.
• No DUI in the last seven years.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs regularly and move >125 lbs with equipment.
• One year of CDL driving experience or trucking school within five years.

Pay

$27-$30/hr depending on experience

Schedule

Monday‑Friday schedule with occasional weekend. Work starts in the morning and ends late afternoon.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload your truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies.
• Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers.
• Make deliveries in a timely manner.
• Safely strap and unstrap cylinders.
• Make deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart, emphasizing the physical nature of this position as labor intensive.
• Frequently exit the vehicle to inspect and service cylinders.

Qualifications

• One year of CDL driving experience in the last five years, or provide proof of completion of a trucking school within the last five years.
