Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Local CDL A Driver in North Hollywood, CA, to deliver cylinder products to local and regional customers. You will load/unload, perform inspections, and maintain professional customer relations, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents within the last three years; or no more than one conviction and one accident in the same period.
• No driving under the influence within the last seven years.
• Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment.
• Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.
• 1 year of recent CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or a certificate of completion from a trucking school within the last 5 years.

Location: North Hollywood, CA – Vanowen – Retail shop

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers using a company‑provided tractor‑tanker, straight, or box truck.
• Load and unload cylinders and supplies on a daily basis.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain courteous and professional relationships with customers.
• Make timely deliveries and, when required, use a hand cart to complete deliveries on customer property sites.
• Can frequently exit or enter the vehicle to facilitate loading and unloading.
