Paycom - ATS in Duncan, SC is seeking a full-time Driver to inspect and operate tractor trailers, secure cargo, and deliver materials with attention to DOT and company safety rules.

You will maintain logs, handle loading/unloading, and interact with customers at each stop while meeting compliance standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Must meet DOT regulations and company policies.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Satisfactory MVR and PSP reports.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse enrollment and reporting.
• Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
• Check vehicles before driving and secure cargo for safe transport.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures during transit and delivery.
• Operate tractor trailers to deliver materials, handling strapping/unstrapping and rag side trailer functions at each stop.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Maintain accurate log books, obtain delivery receipts or signatures, and collect payments as required.

Job Details

Job Location: Duncan, SC 29334, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Transportation, Drivers are responsible for inspecting mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment, securing cargo, and operating tractor trailers to deliver materials safely and efficiently to customers. They follow DOT and company regulations, maintain accurate logbooks, handle loading and unloading using various equipment, and ensure proper documentation and customer interaction at each stop.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment to ensure compliance and operational readiness.


• Check vehicles before driving and secure cargo for safe transport.


• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures during transit and delivery.


• Operate tractor trailers to deliver materials, handling strapping/unstrapping and rag side trailer functions at each stop.


• Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.


• Maintain accurate log books, obtain delivery receipts or signatures, and collect payments as required.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of recent driving experience in a commercial motor vehicle


• Hold a current, valid Class A CDL


• Satisfactory criminal background check


• Satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)


• Satisfactory result on a pre-employment drug screening


• Satisfactory PSP (Pre-Employment Screening Program) report


• Acceptable DOT-compliant employment verification(s)


• Acceptable FMCSA Clearinghouse report


• Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (issued within the last 90 days or must be renewed prior to hire)
