Job summary

NEXT LEVEL STAFFING, LTD is seeking a friendly Traffic Clerk to support our shipping and receiving front office. You will be the first point of contact for truck drivers and visitors, assist with check-in, and assign doors through to departure.

You will coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure documents are accurate and timely, verify data in the system, and inform carriers of any pending or unscheduled arrivals.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
• Ability to stand for at least 5 hours in total during shift.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Comfortable working in a shared office environment with high traffic.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for delivery drivers and visitors at the facility.
• Assist drivers with check-in, assign doors, and guide them through departure.
• Coordinate with warehouse and transportation to ensure shipping/receiving documents are completed accurately and timely.
• Verify and count products to confirm data accuracy in the system.
• Notify carriers and key team members of pending, no-shows and unscheduled arrivals.
• Engage with drivers and reschedule appointments if necessary.
• Answer phone calls and transfer to appropriate departments.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) scheduler.
