Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Driver Check-In Clerk to verify and process daily driver invoices, returns and related paperwork. This full-time role starts at $21.00 per hour and involves warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

You will verify collections, code invoices, manage returns and reships, and support transportation coordination while maintaining accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify all collections from daily routes for accuracy, signed and dated.
• Code all invoices in compliance with policy.
• Write off defective/damaged items and dispose of goods.
• Verify driver returns, pickups, credits, etc., against paperwork.
• Place returned goods on correct pallets to speed warehouse put away.
• Ensure reshipped goods are accounted for and stored in reship area.
• Communicate reship papers to transportation supervisor or router.
• Report any truck maintenance issues found on trip documents.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary

The Driver Check-In Clerk will be responsible for verification and processing of the daily delivery driver invoices, associated paperwork, returns and collections.

Starting Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Time Type: Full time Remote Type: Job Family Group: Market Operations

Job Responsibilities

• Verify all collections from the daily routes of driver, ensuring that the payments are accurate, signed and dated.
• Properly code all invoices compliant with company policy.
• Write off items out of inventory that are defective or damaged and dispose of goods.
• Verify all driver product returns, pickups, credits, etc., to ensure that the returned item matches the associated paperwork.
• Ensure that returned goods are placed on the appropriate pallets in the returns area to speed put away in the warehouse.
• Verify all goods that are to be reshipped are accounted for and placed in the appropriate reship area within the warehouse.
• Communicate to the necessary parties regarding the reships and ensure the proper paperwork gets to the transportation supervisor or router for the reships.
• Communicates any truck maintenance issues to transportation or fleet maintenance that are discovered on the daily pre and post trip documents that are turned in.
• Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• No prior experience required
• Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
• Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
• Analytic and Reporting skills
• Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
