Zusammenfassung

Rio Grande Co. in Colorado is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely deliver finished goods and materials to customers. The role requires a valid Class A license and at least 2 years of truck driving experience, plus the ability to comply with DOT regulations.

You will work under the Dispatcher in the Operations department and report to the company’s logistics team. The position offers hourly pay with benefits, including retirement and insurance options, and opportunities for career growth

Qualifikationen

• Must hold required commercial driver’s license appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated.
• A minimum of 2 year experience safely operating a Class A truck.
• Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
• All other duties assigned

• Operates a semi-truck according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying all traffic laws, and observing all safety regulations.
• Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas following loading crew signals.
• Assists with loading of or loads and unloads goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area.
• Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete.
• Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to the Dispatcher and/or Garage.
• Arranges trailers in warehouse yards for optimum loading patterns.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

The CDL Class A Driver will safely and efficiently deliver finished goods, products, and materials to customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner.
