Job summary

Kenworth Louisiana is seeking a Driver to operate and deliver trucks, parts, and materials to facilities, customers, and vendor sites. You will ensure on-time, safe deliveries and maintain DOT compliance throughout all shifts.

Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL and have a clean driving record. The role involves extended driving periods and professional interaction with customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience.
• Active driving experience within the past 12 months.
• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks and/or ride with another driver to deliveries as needed.

Driver

Summary:
The Driver drives and delivers truck (new and used), parts, materials, and/or equipment to other facilities, customer locations, or vendor sites as the need arises.

Essential Duties

• Drive trucks and/or ride with another driver to delivery between various locations upon request
• Communicate in a timely manner with company staff as required
• Interact professionally with staff, customer, and vendors
• Maintain accurate and timely records as required by DOT federal regulations
• Comply with Federal laws pertaining to cellular phone use
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years truck driving experience
• Must have active driving experience within the past 12 months
• Valid Class "A" CDL
• Clean Driving Record is required and the ability to meet our insurance requirements

Work Environment

This position requires the employee to drive for extended periods of time. Employees must also be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
