What you need to know about this position:

• The position is represented by a labor union.
• Schedule: 4 days a week / 10 hours per day, Mon-Sat, with 2 days off. Start time: 12am-2am, subject to change based on customer demand.

As a Driver, you'll play a vital role in delivering our products safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses. Our focus is on safety and timely deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Ensure compliance with procedures and conduct regular safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.) to guarantee safety.
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch.

Job Specific Requirements:

• Must have a CDL-Class A license with at least 2-3 years of proven safe driving experience.
• Must pass drug test, MVR, and background check.
• FMCSA's Clearinghouse registration is required. Link to get started: FMSCA.

What you'll need as a CDL Driver:

• Customer-oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers (specific key customers to be added based on site data).
• Minimum one year of safe driving experience with no serious convictions, checked over the last 10 years.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency with smartphones or tablets and electronic logging devices (ELD) for logging driving times and positions. Ability to use scanners and log deliveries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and schedules.
• Basic vehicle mechanics knowledge for communicating problems and performing simple repairs.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and temperatures.
