Payrate:

• Hourly payrate: $27.03 an hour

What you need to know about this position:

• The position is represented by a labor union.
• Schedule may vary from Monday to Saturday, 4 or 5 days a week, starting times vary.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and conduct regular safety checks of equipment.
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.

Job Specific Requirements:

• Must have a CDL-Class A license and at least one year of safe driving experience.
• Valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID required for access to military base facilities.
• Preferred experience in direct store delivery (DSD), but not required.
• Pass drug test, MVR, and background check.
• FMCSA's Clearinghouse Registration required.

What You'll Need as a Driver CDL:

• Customer-oriented attitude and excellent support skills.
• Minimum one year of safe driving experience with no serious convictions.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations, local, state, and federal requirements.
• Understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency with smartphones, electronic logging devices, scanners, and delivery logs.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and schedules.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
