Job summary

DO & CO is seeking a dynamic CDL Driver (Class A or B) to join our Detroit team. The role involves transporting meals and equipment between DO & CO facilities and the airport, loading/unloading aircraft per regulations, and ensuring catering accuracy for flights.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL A or B, be able to pass a background check, and tolerate outdoor work in all weather. Competitive pay and full-time benefits are provided.

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager CDL Driver Class A/B to join our growing team in Detroit!

Responsibilities:

• Transport of meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third-party vendors, and the airport.

• Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling.

• Ensure flights are always catered correctly.

• Cater to DO & CO’s client’s airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely.

• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.

• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driving license type A or B

• Requirements necessary to obtain airport ID.

• Must Pass a criminal background check.

• Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise. Many duties performed outside in all weather conditions.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

• Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet.

• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.

• Communicate effectively with team members, make sure communication is clear and understood by co-workers.
