Job summary

North Coast Electric is seeking a Delivery Driver to support our Montana and Pacific Northwest operations. You will safely deliver materials to contractors, offices and job sites while adhering to load and safety guidelines.

You will perform DVIR inspections, maintain accurate loading procedures, and assist with warehouse duties as needed. Strong communications and teamwork are essential in delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Age 21+ and able to pass DOT Physical.
• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT).
• Ability to learn use of handheld scanners and operating systems.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Self-motivated, teamwork focused and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Making deliveries to customer job sites, shops, and NCE locations.
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness using the Driver's Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR).
• Ensure the truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight limitations.
• Filling orders in support of delivery routes.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned.

What You Will Do:

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (75+ lbs.)
• Driving delivery vehicle with a GVW under 15,000 lbs.
• Warehouse environment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
