Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a delivery associate to support daily operations in Billings, MT. You will perform deliveries to customer sites, ensure safe loading, and assist with warehouse tasks while maintaining accuracy and customer service excellence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and completion of a DOT physical. Typical schedule is a 40-hour work week with possible evening or weekend needs based on business demand.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and clean driving record.
• (DOT) physical exam must be passed.
• Must be 21+ and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries to customer job sites, shops, and NCElocations.
• Perform daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and readiness.
• Ensure truck is loaded safely and within weight limits.
• Fill orders to support delivery routes.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned.

• Making deliveries to customer job sites, shops, and NCElocations
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety & vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report
• Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight limitation
• Filling orders in support of delivery routes
• Other warehouse duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Verified by background check.)
• Age 21 & able to pass DOT Physical
• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
• Ability to learn use of handheld scanners and operating systems
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Self-motivated, teamwork focused, and great customer service skills

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (75+ lbs.)
• Driving delivery vehicle with a GVW under 15,000 lbs.
• Warehouse environment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
