Job summary

North Coast Electric in Billings, MT is seeking a Delivery Driver to support contractor customers and warehouses. You will make deliveries to customer job sites, inspect your vehicle daily, and ensure proper loading and safety compliance.

You must have a valid driver's license, be 21+, pass a DOT physical, and show strong customer service and teamwork. Our benefits include healthcare, PTO, 401(k) match, and opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Making deliveries to customer job sites, shops, and NCElocations
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness using the Driver's Vehicle Inspection Report
• Ensure truck is properly loaded, secured, and within weight limitation
• Filling orders in support of delivery routes; other warehouse duties as assigned

What You Will Do:

• Making deliveries to customer job sites, shops, and NCElocations
• Daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety & vehicle readiness using the Driver's Vehicle Inspection Report

What You Will Bring:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Verified by background check.)
• Age 21 & able to pass DOT Physical
• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
• Ability to learn use of handheld scanners and operating systems
• Good oral & written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Self-motivated, teamwork focused, and great customer service skills

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (75+ lbs.)
• Driving delivery vehicle with a GVW under 15,000 lbs.
• Warehouse environment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Usual 40-hour work-week Monday through Friday, however, based on business needs evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on-site attendance

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
