This hybrid role combines responsibilities of a Driver and a Wholesale Order Picker, vital to ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods and meeting the needs of wholesale clients. The role demands excellence in customer interaction, operational efficiency, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Candidates should demonstrate strong commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and a proactive work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Delivery Operations
- Delivers product as required to dispensaries.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety protocols.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain safety standards during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers to troubleshoot software issues or report delays.
- Maintain vehicles in good working order, perform regular safety checks, and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Manage cash collection and remittance in compliance with company policies.
- Pull products accurately for wholesale client orders and verify quantities for packaging and shipment.
- Mark paperwork appropriately and notify the distribution team of any adjustments or shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, load sheets, and product movements.
- Prepare items for delivery, adhering to labeling requirements as mandated by state and local regulations.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and aligns with SOPs.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies, including state and local medical marijuana laws.
- Customer Interaction
- Engage customers and clients with friendly, courteous communication.
- Determine and fulfill pickup and delivery needs promptly.
- Address and resolve customer concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Perform periodic inspections of storage areas to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.

Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Thorough understanding of local street grids and ability to drive in various weather conditions.
- Must possess valid Massachusetts driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to remain calm and poised under pressure when confronted with audits from outside Regulatory agencies (DPH, CCC, ISO, OSHA)Thorough understanding of state and local medical marijuana laws and regulations and how they apply to the operations of the Company.
- Proficiency in Windows-based and other software, as well as work-in-process applications, is desired.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, consistent technique execution, and continuous improvement.
- Conscientious, self-motivated, and proactive, with the ability to thrive under pressure, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
- Strong organizational abilities, reliable documentation skills, and proficiency in inventory management.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities focused on maintaining a safe, accountable, and fully compliant workplace.
- Every job applicant must pass a comprehensive background check, including the mandates of the local cannabis control commission. A job offer issued before the completion of a background check shall be contingent upon a positive result. A negative background check result may lead to the withdrawal of the job offer.
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work a flexible schedule as the business needs demand, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Able to stand for extended periods, and kneel, stoop, bend, twist, in tight areas.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and frequently carry 15–20 pounds across the warehouse.
- Repetitive use of hands for all functions including pruning, transplanting, and equipment handling.
- Willingness to work in windowless vaults and enclosed rooms as needed.
- The employee must be able to sit or stand for long durations and perform essential physical functions, including kneeling, stooping, bending, and twisting within confined or restricted spaces.
- The employee must be able to work in hot, humid environments and tolerate exposure to workplace elements such as dust, allergens, and water.
