The Processing Technician is a crucial role reporting directly to the Processing Supervisor and Operations Manager. The primary responsibility of this position will consist of portioning bulk batches into final delivery devices as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete regular sanitation and basic maintenance of all portioning instruments and equipment, including workspaces, portioning equipment, containers, and tools, to ensure proper safety and compliance.
  • Assist with proper weighing, labeling, and documentation of final product, as well as the tracking of batch numbers and other necessary measurable data.
  • Operate all portioning equipment used at Standard Farms to fill the final product into their delivery devices.
  • Assist with sifting and bagging of bubble hash.
  • Perform all assigned duties required in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring daily portioning goals are met while maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as local, state, and OSHA regulations.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior laboratory or cannabis industry experience preferred
  • Every job applicant must pass a comprehensive background check, including the mandates of the local cannabis control commission.A job offer issued before the completion of a background check shall be contingent upon a positive result.A negative background check result may lead to the withdrawal of the job offer.
  • Must be willing and able to occasionally work a flexible schedule as the business needs demand, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift up to 50poundsand repeatedly carry15–20 poundsacross the warehouse or greenhouse.
  • Frequent andrepetitive use of handsfor tasks including pruning, transplanting, and equipment handling.
  • The employee must be able to sit or stand for long durations and perform essential physical functions, including kneeling, stooping, bending, and twisting within confined or restricted spaces.
  • The employee must be able to work in hot, humid environments and tolerate exposure to workplace elements such as dust, allergens, and water.
