Job summary

Juniper is growing and seeks an Agronomy Technician to safely apply fertilizers and manage Integrated Pest Management for landscape properties in our Southeast service area.

You will diagnose turf and ornamental issues, apply products per label while complying with safety and regulatory standards, and maintain thorough records. Join a team that values growth, excellence, and customer care across 30 locations.

Qualifications

• Experience applying fertilizers and pesticides per label instructions.
• Familiarity with Federal, State, and local regulations for turf and ornamental care.
• Ability to maintain accurate treatment records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and treat turf and ornamental issues as they arise.
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides to lawns and plants per label instructions.
• Prepare and mix products safely according to instructions and product specs.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Keep the vehicle and equipment clean and maintained.
• Maintain accurate records of products used and work orders.
• Communicate with customers to maintain rapport and meet expectations.
• Perform IPM duties using hand/power tools as required.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, diagnosing, and treating turf and ornamental issues as they arise
• Applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides as needed to lawns, shrubs and plant material in accordance with accepted industry practices, safety procedures, label instructions, and rules and requirements of various Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies
• Preparing and mixing products according to label instructions and product specifications, and using in accordance with prescribed safety precautions and directions
• Ensuring the safe and proper operation of tools, vehicles, and equipment; adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
• Maintaining accurate records of products used
• Completing all required correspondence regarding work orders
• Retention of customers through rapport, communication, and met expectations
• Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform IPM duties
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
