Job summary

Circular Services is seeking a Plant Associate I in Montgomery, AL, to ensure proper placement and sorting of materials on the conveyor line. You will perform quality control on mixed recyclables and quickly remove non-conforming items at a fixed station, supporting a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify non-conforming items quickly and remove them safely into designated chutes or bins.
• General warehouse cleanup at end of each shift.
• Processing equipment cleanup at end of each shift.

About the Role:

The Plant Associate I is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting of materials on the conveyor line.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the use of basic Personal Protective Equipment like a hard hat, reflective vest, steel toe boots, ear and eye protection, utility gloves, and arm preferred.
• Previous experience in an industrial recycling facility preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Regularly use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms

• Frequently required to sit, walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, speak and hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long period of time
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud
