Job summary

Tireco Distributors is seeking a Driver in Denver, CO to deliver tires and wheels, act as the face of the company, and ensure safe, friendly service.

You will load/unload shipments, handle payments and returns, and assist in warehouse tasks. A valid license and ability to cross state lines are required; occasional forklift/equipment operation may be needed.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license; No CDL required in most states.
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical.
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift.
• Be able to cross state lines for deliveries as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tires and wheels to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Load and unload product; maintain theDelivery vehicle and keep it clean.
• Collect payments, manage returns, and handle vehicle-related documentation.
• Assist in warehouse orders and loading/unloading trucks; operate warehouse equipment.

JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required


• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required


• Ability to be insured under company driving policy


• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift


• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift


• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck
