Job summary

Tireco Distributors in Portland, OR is seeking a Driver to deliver tires and wheels to customers using a company vehicle. You will ensure safe, on-time deliveries and maintain a high level of customer service on every stop.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, assisting in warehouse orders, and operating equipment like a clamp forklift. CDL is not required; DOT compliance may apply. This is a full-time on-site role with benefits.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $21.00 Hourly

JOB TITLE: Driver

As a Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for the safe delivery of tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle. Although you will be delivering most of the time, you will also assist in the warehouse orders, loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklift.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy
• Ability to safely operate a box truck and a clamp forklift
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift
• Preferred - 2+ years experience safely operating a box truck
