Danfoss in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Material Handler and Box Truck Driver to move materials safely between locations, support warehouse operations, and ensure accurate inventory while maintaining on-time deliveries.

This hands-on role blends driving with forklift/pallet jack work and ERP transactions (SAP or similar). You’ll help uphold safety, accuracy, and efficient flow of products to internal teams, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred if applicable.
• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or delivery driving.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment or ability to certify.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck to transport materials between facilities and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely operate a box truck to transport materials between company facilities while ensuring on-time deliveries and secure handling of goods.
• Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques to support efficient warehouse operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by processing material movements and transactions within the ERP system (SAP or similar).
• Perform vehicle inspections, identify maintenance concerns, and help ensure equipment remains safe and operational.
• Support warehouse organization, cycle counts, inventory audits, and cross-functional collaboration with warehouse, production, and leadership teams.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred if applicable to business needs.
• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, and/or delivery driving.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks or the ability to become certified.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with team members.
