Job summary

Pillar of Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to assist residents with daily activities, accompany them to appointments, and advocate for their well‑being. You will be a leader for the care team and help ensure a respectful, high‑quality environment.

This is a 1st shift position (6:00am–2:00pm, Monday–Friday) with a sign‑on bonus of $2,000 and benefits including medical, dental and vision plans, generous vacation, paid time off, tuition

Qualifications

• CNA certification from Iowa required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commitment to resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with appointments and daily activities.
• Support care team and advocate for residents.
• Ensure compliance with survey processes and best practices.

Job Description

Assist residents to doctor appointments and regular appointments

When no appointments, help where ever is needed on any units

Serve as an advocate for your residents and a leader for your team

Be knowledgeable in the survey process and best practices

Qualification

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certified Nursing Assistant certificate from the State of Iowa
