Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is seeking a Driver in Bakersfield, CA. The driver will distribute products promptly to customers, represent the company professionally, and ensure customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

• The Driver’s role is to distribute our products promptly to our customers.
• To represent the company in a professional manner and help deliver customer satisfaction.
• Pick up, transport, and drop off a variety of Harbison-Fischer parts
• Follow route and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
• Complete any logs or reports needed
• Follow all safety standards
• Be professional with good communication and customer service skills
• Assist in warehouse and assembly area with stocking, loading, and organizing materials when needed
• Follow standard operating procedure while carrying out the responsibilities of this position
• Ensure that delivery truck is regularly cleaned and properly maintained
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and move up to 50 lbs, with assistance
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license in state of residence required
• Good driving record
• CDL license experience a plus
• One to two years' experience
• Driver will be required to have experience with pulling a trailer.
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Commitment to work overtime as needed
• Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative and productivity
• Proven work experience as a delivery driver
• Able to work overtime and Saturday

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Compensation

$25 - $27 per hour DOE
