The role also involves helping residents on and off vehicles and supporting engagement in community activities.

The ideal candidate is patient, safety-conscious, and enjoys interacting with seniors, with flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience in transportation, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Compassionate and resident-focused attitude.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable attendance and strong time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Driver / Transportation Assistant is responsible for safely transporting residents to appointments, outings, activities, and scheduled destinations while providing excellent customer service and compassionate support throughout the transportation experience.

This role also supports resident engagement by building positive relationships and assisting residents safely in and out of vehicles and throughout community activities.
