Job summary

Freedom Pointe at the Villages is seeking a hospitality‑oriented Driver to transport residents to grocery stores, outings and trips, and assist with housekeeping as needed.

The role requires a minimum six months of bus/van driving experience and a high school diploma or GED. The position offers an hourly pay of $14.00 and benefits for full and part‑time staff, including DailyPay access to earned income.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist residents on and off bus/van and coordinate equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Support driving responsibilities to drive occupancy and service quality.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top‑line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
• High school diploma or GED required
