When not on the road, you will help keep the local warehouse clean, organized, and inventoried.

Responsibilities
  • Stock a sprinter van each day with small medical device products needed for hospital deliveries.
  • Drive throughout the greater Houston area to visit assigned hospitals and medical facilities on predetermined routes.
  • Obtain and maintain hospital badges as required to access treatment centers and medical supply closets.
  • Enter hospital treatment centers and review medical closets to identify items that are low or out of stock.
  • Take clear notes on inventory levels and determine which items need replenishment.
  • Return to the van, gather required products using a dolly or other equipment, and restock hospital medical closets accurately and neatly.
  • Collect patient-related medical paperwork as directed, return it to the truck, file it properly, and submit it to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Use Microsoft Teams to track inventory levels, complete daily reporting, and log routes and activities for each workday.
  • Coordinate with other drivers, regional leadership, office personnel, and hospital staff to ensure efficient deliveries and clear communication.
  • Maintain an organized storage area in the van, arranging products in a logical and efficient manner.
  • Drive safely and consistently across a wide geographic area including Lake Jackson, Conroe, Baytown, Katy, and surrounding locations.
  • Perform basic vehicle checks while on the road, such as monitoring gas, oil, and fluid levels, and report any issues promptly.
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing the Stafford warehouse when delivery volume is light.
  • Participate in quarterly warehouse inventory counts and help ensure product counts are accurate.
  • Handle light-weight products carefully and ensure they are stored and transported in a clean, orderly manner.
  • Be available for on-call rotations as scheduled, responding to after-hours needs when required.
  • Maintain a neat, professional appearance that aligns with company dress standards while interacting with hospital staff and colleagues.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external hospital contacts, providing updates and resolving minor issues as they arise.
Essential Skills
  • Proven ability to drive safely and confidently throughout the greater Houston area on multi-stop routes.
  • Previous delivery driving experience, ideally in roles such as parcel delivery or route-based driving.
  • Experience working with medical supplies or in a medical-related environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including extensive experience using Microsoft Teams for communication, reporting, and inventory tracking.
  • Ability to learn and use basic inventory systems and digital tools to log routes and product movements.
  • Excellent organization skills, including the ability to keep a vehicle and warehouse storage areas clean and orderly.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with hospital staff, office personnel, and other drivers.
  • Capability to stock shelves, move light-weight medical products, and handle paperwork accurately and securely.
  • Comfort driving and working with vehicles such as sprinter vans and box trucks on a regular basis.
  • Reliability and punctuality for day-shift work Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call availability.
  • Neat, professional appearance appropriate for hospital and clinical environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Background in delivery roles with organizations such as parcel carriers or logistics companies is a plus.
  • Experience in orthotic or medical device technology environments is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with driving routes across the Houston metro area, including Lake Jackson, Conroe, Baytown, and Katy.
  • Comfort using equipment such as dollies for moving boxed medical supplies.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing routes or delivery priorities while maintaining efficiency.
  • Attention to detail when reviewing inventory levels, handling medical paperwork, and completing reports.
  • Strong time management skills to plan daily routes and, when appropriate, start earlier to optimize the workday.
Why Work Here?

You join a highly stable operation with consistent workflow and a supportive, hands-off environment as long as you perform your duties reliably. The role offers a straightforward, easy-going day-to-day experience, with clear processes and autonomy in organizing your vehicle and routes. You receive a company gas card and coverage for vehicle-related expenses, reducing out-of-pocket costs. There is also structured opportunity for advancement into other positions within the organization, providing room to grow your career over time.

Work Environment

This position is primarily field-based, with most of the day spent driving an 8'6" tall sprinter van that typically accumulates 2,000 to 3,000 miles per month. Routes currently follow predetermined, efficient paths across the Houston area, covering locations from Lake Jackson to Conroe and Baytown to Katy, with flexibility to adjust as needed. The van’s storage area can be organized according to personal preference, provided it remains neat and logically arranged. Vehicle fuel, oil changes, and fluid maintenance are covered via a company gas card. The supporting Stafford warehouse is small, with 248 light-weight products, many of which are similar items in different sizes, making handling and stocking manageable. You work alongside a small local team that includes another driver, regional leadership, and office staff, and you regularly interact with hospital personnel in clinical settings. The standard schedule is day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the option to start earlier if you plan and coordinate your route effectively. There is an on-call component that provides a weekly on-call stipend even if you are not called, and any on-call hours worked are paid at overtime rates. Dress expectations include a professional polo, tennis shoes, and professional pants or jeans in cooler months, with professional cargo shorts acceptable in summer, similar to typical parcel delivery attire.
