Job summary

Midway Car Rental in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a customer-focused Vehicle Service Associate to deliver and pick up vehicles, perform check-in/out forms, and ensure top-notch vehicle presentation.

You will greet customers, be knowledgeable about our fleet, and maintain a clean, efficient operation while working nights, weekends, and holidays. A clean driving record and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol related driving incidents in the last 5-7 years; no more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Delivery/pick up vehicles from various locations.
• Complete vehicle check-in/check-out forms with accurate disclosure of vehicle conditions.
• Wash/clean interior and exterior of vehicles when needed.
• Greet customers upon vehicle return.
• Be knowledgeable about fleet and be able to explain vehicle operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivery/Pick up vehicles and/or customers from various locations while maintaining professional and legal driving standards and expectations.
• Complete vehicle check in and check out forms in an efficient and accurate manner for disclosure of vehicle conditions. (i.e fuel level, mileage, damage)
• Wash/Clean interior and exterior of vehicles when needed.
• Greet each customer upon return of the vehicle.
• Be knowledgeable on vehicle fleet and be able to provide any additional information necessary on the operation of the vehicle and its features.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Pass background; inclusive of Pre-Employment Drug Test, SSN Validation, and Criminal Record
• Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol related driving incidents in the last 5-7 years; No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years; No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License within a 5-7 year period. Will be subject to continuous Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring
• Minimum 3 years of license history and recent active driving

Compensation:

• $18.62-$20.12
• The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, and education when applicable.
